This competition is confined to Irish Native Breeds any Variety - Dog or Bitch
Breeds as Follows:
- A) Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier: B) Irish Red Setter: C) Irish Red and White Setter: D) Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier: E) Irish Terrier: F) Irish Water Spaniel: G) Irish Wolfhound: H) Kerry Beagle: I) Kerry Blue:
- Two Dogs to qualify from each Qualifying Show:
- Entries in this Championship cannot Compete in any other Dog Classes at Ballinasloe Show.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules
Final:- Ballinasloe Show Saturday 27th September 2025
Entries taken on Show Day on the field from 1pm.
All Dogs MUST be on a Lead & under the control of the Handler
Ensure Dogs are healthy, well groomed and properly controled at all times
Entry fee - €5 for single entry and €3 for additional entries

Rules Owner Must Follow: As per The Control of Dogs Regulations 1998
- All dogs Listed above must be Muzzled when out in Pulblic.
- Dogs on the list must be on a short lead or chain (less than 2 meters), which must be sufficiently strong.
- At all times, these Dogs must wear a collar with the owners information on it including their full name and address.
- Restricted Dogs can only be led by people over the age of 16 yrs.
Exceptions to the Law mainly apply to Law Inforcements, Border Pretection, or other services
No entries permitted on day of event.
